Liberation through silence

Posted in Uncategorized by christinaheaston on April 22, 2009

Half asleep underneath both of your jackets, I peeked my head out and watched your bodies move into the night. With the skyline behind your dark silhouettes, you were the perfect photograph inside my mind. Part of me wanted to get out of the car and listen to your words. The other part of me, the better part of me, didn’t want to cheapen the beauty of the moment with a lifeless conversation. So i just watched.

It’s weird what can move you when you’re half asleep.
