When I was 5 years old, Thanksgiving was about a crayon list of red words on orange construction paper: family, god, friends.

17 years later, my list has evolved into ink words on a sketchpad, with detailed descriptions of people, events, experiences, places, opportunities, conversations, and feelings.

But reading back over it, it’s still the same.
